In which semester is there coding in b. tech?

From which semester programming is introduced to B. Tech. students?

This is a very popular question that arises in almost every coding enthusiast in his early phase.

Basically, it depends on the curriculum of your institute, i.e. it may differ institute-wise. But, in general, a b. tech. students start to get coding exposure from the 2nd semester of the 1st year. In the second semester, C programming is introduced to students, and they are taught how to approach to solve fundamental popular mathematical-based programming problems, like Prime Number, Armstrong Number, Happy Number, Automorphic Number, Magic Number, etc.
